Background[edit]

Jake Goblin is a GenMod (Series Sigma, Line No. 888888888), known superior physiological systems, heightened senses and intellect, as well as other capabilities. From inception, extraordinary capabilities beyond those of any GenMod in Series Sigma, making him a prime candidate for the elite training programs of the Nine Systems. he was, however, abandoned by his creator, Pegasus Advanced Systems, for unknown reasons and left for dead on Earth. His real "name" is the series of numbers permanently tattooed above and below his left eye. "Jake Goblin" is a name he chose after being abandoned and left for dead by his creator, the Pegasus Advanced Systems Conglomerate, from a series of advertisements he read on New Orleans Prime billboards.

Training[edit]

Jake was recruited into the Nine Systems Special Forces (NSSF), and later into its Delta One Unit, an off-the-books, elite unit tasked with handling the most dangerous missions across the galaxy. His exceptional performance led to his selection for the Personal Security Detail of the Chancellor before seperating from military service. Soon after, Jake's training began at the prestigious Nine Systems Federal & Galactic Enforcement Academy, where he underwent a grueling regimen that included: Advanced Combat Techniques including Mastery of both traditional and energy-based weapons; Tactical Infiltration including Stealth operations and intelligence gathering in hostile territories; Cyber Warfare, including Hacking and counter-hacking in a galaxy where information is power; Alien Physiology, understanding and combating various alien species; and Zero-Gravity Combat Fighting in environments with no gravity. During this time, he served on "Bug Duty," exterminating alien species who, according to the federal government, "present a nuisance to trade, commerce, and the free flow of markets." Because of the intelligent nature of many of these alien species, this often required detailed planning and, later, expert combat skills. He later left Bug Duty to serve as a Federal Agent. He is also a expert small- and medium-class starship pilot.

The Battle of Xandar Prime[edit]

During a routine patrol, Jake's team was ambushed by a rogue faction on Xandar Prime. Outnumbered and outgunned, Jake led a daring counterattack, using his knowledge of the terrain and advanced combat skills to turn the tide. His leadership and bravery not only saved his team but also secured vital intelligence that thwarted a larger insurgency.

The Rescue on Zeta-9[edit]

Jake was assigned to rescue a group of hostages held by the notorious pirate gang, the Black Nebula, on the remote mining colony of Zeta-9. Utilizing his infiltration training, Jake penetrated the heavily fortified base, neutralized the guards, and safely extracted the hostages. His quick thinking and decisive action earned him commendations from the Chancellor.

The Capture of Tiago the Dragon[edit]

Tiago the Dragon, a feared villain known for his ruthless tactics and powerful dragon-like exosuit, had been terrorizing the Nine Systems for years. Jake was tasked with leading the mission to capture him. After a fierce battle on the volcanic planet of Draconis, Jake managed to outmaneuver Tiago, exploiting a weakness in his exosuit. The capture of Tiago not only brought peace to the Nine Systems but also solidified Jake's reputation as one of the greatest agents in the galaxy.
